Exeter Airport Home Page
Exeter International Airport (EGTE) is a regional airport just a few miles from Exeter accessed via the improved A30. It handles over 1,000,000 passengers a year. Local buses serve the airport, and taxis and hire cars are also available. The airport offers a variety of scheduled and charter flights both domestic and international. It is the hub of Flybe, see www.flybe.com for routes and fares. If you are making your own transport arrangements, you have a choice of bus, taxi, airport transfer, or hire cars. There is no direct rail link, but there are stations in the City of Exeter. You will have to make the train connection by car, taxi or bus. Buses
There are only 2 regular bus services that pick up at the airport. They are run by Stagecoach Bus Company. One route, serviced by 56 and 56A buses, travels between Exeter St Davids Train Station and Exmouth Bus Station, and the other route is serviced by 379 buses that operate beween Exeter and Sidmouth via the airport, but they are less frequent.

Airport Taxis
The only authorised taxi service that operates from the terminal building and allowed to use the taxi rank is Exeter Airport Taxis, see http://www.exeterairporttaxis.co.uk/ or telephone 01395 234100
An approximate fare quoted by phone was £15 to Exeter City Centre and £20 to Sidmouth. That equates to about £2 a mile, and they advise booking. I arrived back at 23:00 one evening and it was a long wait as I had not booked. As an alternative, here are some other local numbers for taxis that can pick you on a pre-booked service
